Lunch with Forever Friends...

On Monday, February 19, 2024, Christy Schumann, Becky Pulver, Kathy Cheshire, and I had lunch at the Olive Garden.  I have known these ladies for 41 years.  We were good friends when we all lived in the Greenbriar Ward raising our children.  We have always stayed in touch, though it has been a few years since we have seen each other.

It was so fun to catch up and laugh!

46th Anniversary

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, Keith and I celebrated out 46th Anniversary.  We actually went to Maddox with our Empty Nester's Group on Tuesday, February 13th for dinner.  It was wonderful.  We had such a great time.  Here are a few throwback pictures:

New Pictures of Braxton

On Monday, February 12, 2024, I received a few new pictures of Braxton.  It looks like Kimberly took him to get his haircut and out to lunch.  He looks so handsome.

Weber State vs. Sac State Basketball Game

On Saturday, February 10, 2024, we attended the WSU Basketball game (vs. Sacramento State).  I couldn't believe how crowded the DEC was.  It was hard to find a parking place.  We ran into Bill Smith at the game so he sat in back of us.  

It was an exciting game.  It was also Mascot Night, so there were lots of Mascots there.  So Fun!

We took a selfie and Bill photo-bombed us.  So Funny!

Anita's Birthday 2024

On Saturday, February 3, 2024, Jacque, Becky, and Jana showed up at my door at 6:30 p.m. to take me for ice cream for my birthday!  We had been visiting with Keith's mom and we had stopped at the grocery store.  I had just made myself a salad and was going to sit down to eat it when they came.  They came in and let me eat a little bit of my salad before they took me to Farr's for ice cream.  

I hadn't been to Farr's in years.  It did not disappoint.  So good.

Earlier in the afternoon, Sherri Cox stopped by and brought me Cherrie Chocolates and we had a good visit.

Becky took an old apron I had and made a pillow for me.  I love it!  She made me a valentine pillow too and Nancy got me a book and some chocolate kisses.

Jana gave me three reusable bags and a Twix bar.

Jacque gave me 20.00 in Chick-Fil-A Gift Cards and Egg Nog Ice Cream and Cinnamon Hearts!  She also treated everyone to ice cream!

Chris Crowther gave me a Gift card to Mrs. Cavanaugh's.  Yum!

Les gave me a card and a candy bar.  I forgot to take a picture of it.  I got a $40.00 gift card for Chilis from JT, Kaylee and the kids and a $15.00 gift card for Cold Stone.  Yum! I also got three beautiful birthday letters from the kids.

JJ even sent me a stick of gum!

I feel very blessed.  I was treated to lunch by Chersti and she gave me a cute Heart with a place to add the Things I Love.  So thoughtful!  Her kids were the first to wish me a Happy Birthday!

I have truly been blessed with the best friends!  I baked Sugar Cookies on Wednesday so that we could take them to our ministering sisters.  I forgot how stress relieving baking is.  They turned out cute and they were super yummy!

I had lunch with Norm and Maurie on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the University Grill on Harrison.  It was fun.  They treated me to lunch and gave me some cute slippers Maurie knitted and a dishtowel. So kind.

Valentine's Decorations at the Cemetery!

 On Thursday, February 1, 2024, I went to the cemetery and took down the Christmas decor.  I put up the Valentine's Spring decor.  It looked so nice.  I wanted to beat the storm that is yet to come soon.

Early Birthday and Valentine's Day Gifts

On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, we visited Eva at the Assisted Living Facility.  Keith gave me my Birthday Gift early as well as my Valentine's Day/Anniversary Gift.  

Pam and Sandra visited Eva at the Assisted Living Facility and brought her a cute Valentine Bear.  Keith saw it and knew I would like it as well.  He surprised me for my birthday (early) and then also got a cute sign for me for our Anniversary/Valentine's Day!  I love both of the gifts.
