On Friday, November 21, 2025, after meeting my friends for lunch, Keith and I decided it was time to put up the Christmas trees. We were able to get Skyler's tree up on Friday night, as well as some household decorations, and then on Saturday, I spent 4 plus hours putting up the Great Room Christmas Tree. I think they turned out pretty nice. Just in time for Thanksgiving!
On Friday, November 21, 2025, Tori, Becky, Kathy, Christy and I met at the Olive Garden in Riverdale for lunch. We enjoyed catching up while enjoying yummy food. We celebrated Kathy and Christy's birthdays. Then we went shopping at Trader Joe's. We found some fun things there. It was great to hang out with these forever friends.
On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, we gathered at the church for the Pleasant View 10th Ward Relief Society Pioneer Christmas Dinner. The committee went all out. The food was fantastic, the decorations were unbelievable, and many pioneer stories were shared. It was such a fun night. The Bishopric judged the many pies that were baked. It was so hard to choose which ones to try. And we had a hot chocolate bar. It was a wonderful evening.
On November 15, 2025, I attended the bridal shower for Courtney Geibel. Genny Minnoch hosted the shower. She did such an amazing job on the food, decorations, everything! Friends shared their easy recipes with Courtney, as well as their favorite kitchen items. Courtney is such a bright light. She served a mission in Germany and her fiancé served a mission in Germany as well. I am so excited for the two of them.
On November 1, 2025, in a small private ceremony, Goldie Harris and Wyatt Clough got married. They were sealed in the Logan Temple. We have known the Harris family for years. They used to live right down the street from us. They recently moved to Logan to build a new home on some family property they were gifted.
Goldie met Wyatt while she was serving her mission in Arkansas. Congratulations to the cute couple.
On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, I attended a Bridal Shower for Teya Filiaga. I have known Teya for years. I am so excited for her to start her new life with Cody Nate. Jana Hurst hosted the shower. Many friends from the ward helped with the food for the shower. There were over 40 people attending. It was fun to see so many friends together. I brought two bags of butterflake rolls and two dozen sugar cookies.
I love Fall! It is my favorite Season. I love the changing leaves and the brilliant colors. The cooler weather is a bonus too! Our yard has come to life with beautiful color. Our flowers look more brilliant than they did all summer.
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, we celebrated Abbie Twingstrom's Twins with a shower and taco bar. Her friend Mindy went all out for the shower. It was so fun! I fell in love with the pink pup! A good time was had by all!
On Friday, November 7, 2025, Skyler Lynn Olson turned 7 years old! She was so excited for her birthday that she woke up at 2:00 a.m. and wanted to open presents! She got a treat from Starbucks and later that evening, she had pizza and a donut cake to celebrate! This girl even made her own decorations for her party for her friends. On Sunday, November 9th, she celebrated her birthday with friends. She was showered with fun American Girl Doll gifts and lots of other fun stuff. Her birthday was a huge success!
