Apples, Apples, Apples!

This has been a bumper crop year for our orchard.  We have had more pears and apples than we have had in the 18 years we have lived here.  I credit it to the care that Karson Craig has given to our trees.  He is an arborist and has years of experience.  He has pruned our trees for the past few years and he does a great job.

Keith sprays our trees, and we don't have wormy apples or pears.  They are delicious.  I was worried about even trying to dry apples because of my shoulder surgery.  I have found that it doesn't hurt if I do a little at a time.  So, that is what I have done the past few days.

I have a few pictures of a few of the apples that have been picked.  We have had over 50 people come and pick apples.

I am grateful for the orchard even if it is a lot of work.  It is worth it.

Allie Hurst Wedding...

On October 21, 2023, Allie Hurst and Alex Harbertson were married.  We have known Allie for several years.  She was one of my young women, and she is the daughter of Scott and Jana Hurst.  The two of them met at work at the dental office.  They were looking to hire someone, and when the staff was going through resumes, they said, "oh, a guy has applied."  Allie said, hey we need to interview him.  He might be my future husband.  As it turns out, he is her now husband.  What a fun story to share with their kids.

Allie's dress was beautiful!  I told her she looked like Cinderella!  So beautiful!

Congratulations Al's...May All Your Dreams Come True!

Braxton's Senior Pictures

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Kimberly had Braxton's Senior Pictures taken.  For a kid who hates pictures, they turned out great.

I can't believe how he is mirror image of his dad.  Skyler would be so proud.  We love you Braxton!
