We had a pretty low-key day on Christmas. We slept in and then got ready for the day. We visited Eva at the Care Center. We brought her Christmas flowers and her favorite pecan Pinoche from Mrs. Cavanaughs. Brandon and Chad were there right after we got there so it was fun to visit with them. We came home and watched the Vikings game-they won! SKOL! We heated up some dinner and then went to Christmas Village to see the beautiful light displays. We ran into a lady who had the same Christmas sweater as I did, so we took a picture together. Twinning is Winning. We played Kismet and relaxed. It was a fun day! Rebel got a new baby raccoon from Santa Paws! He loved growling at it and rolling on it and chewing it.

Christmas Eve 2025
We had a pretty low key Christmas Eve. We went to the Outback to eat an early dinner. But first we stopped at Deseret Book to get Keith some new garments. We ended up buying a Christmas Decoration, and I got a new temple dress as well.
We wandered around Hobby Lobby for a while, and then we went to the Outback to eat. It did not disappoint. Keith and I have enough leftovers over dinner tomorrow. Jamie and her family went to dinner as well. They sent a cute picture.

Christmas Sunday - December 21, 2025
We attended church on Christmas Sunday. The program was absolutely beautiful. The music, scriptures, and a few talks were perfect. There was such a special spirit in the meeting. We visited Eva after church and then we had a visit from Brent Barker, our home teacher. We ate dinner and then we were visited by the Crawford family. They were headed to a live nativity in North Ogden, but they made time to visit with us first. It was great to catch-up. It was a nice Christmas Sunday!

Skyler's Birthday 2025
December 18, 2025 is Skyler's birthday. We spent the day surrounded with friends. Not a minute goes by that I don't miss him or think about him. We had so many friends reach out on Facebook letting us know that he is still so loved and always remembered. Rest in Peace my Beautiful Boy!
Visit From Dean Garrett, Brother Hirokawa, and an Evening with The Espinosas!
On Thursday, December 18, 2025, Dean Garrett visited with Keith and I. Dean and Keith have been friends for many years. I was friends with Dean's sister Roberta all through High School. It was fun to catch up with him. He brought us Utah Truffles!
Later that afternoon, Micah Hirokawa stopped by and signed his two books that I had purchased for Wilma and I. Brother Hirokawa shared his story with us and some history and pictures of his family. It was so interesting to hear about his ancestors lives. I can't wait to read the book.
At 4:30 p.m., we traveled to Layton to the home of our dear friends Dave and Vicki Espinosa. Vicki had fixed a wonderful dinner for us. We enjoyed dinner and visiting with Vicki and Dave. Valerie, Greg, and Greyson stopped by to say hello too. It was so fun to see them. We had cheesecake with blueberries for dessert and bizchito cookies. They even sent some home with us to enjoy. Vicki and my Aunt Bessie are the only two people I am aware of who make these.
After dinner we played 3 different games. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves. We exchanged gifts and then we headed home around 9:30 p.m. We are forever grateful for our forever friends.

Ward Christmas "Cheer-cuterie" Brunch
This year the ward decided to do something different. We met at 10:30 a.m. for a "Cheer-cuterie" brunch. There was ham and relish sandwiches, cheese and crackers, salami, veggie tray and dips, grapes, pretzels, oranges, brownies for dessert and Rice Krispie treats. It was a nice change. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. There was a short program afterwards.
