On Saturday, June 1, 2024, Braxton Kyle Preece graduated from iSucceed. iSucceed is a program where the students attend high school online. Braxton really struggled in 2020 with the pandemic and the teachers did not show up. Online school seemed to fit for him, not without struggles of course. But he graduated! Happy Days!
I drove us to Idaho on Saturday and we checked into the hotel. We changed our clothes and left for Northwest Nazarene University for the graduation ceremony.
We found Braxton and congratulated him and then went outside for pictures.
After the graduation, we went to Texas Roadhouse in Nampa to eat. Dave treated us all to a nice meal. Braxton opened his cards which included a card from Kristen with $100, a card from Jacque with $100, A card from Grandma Great with $100, and a card from us with a check for $3000.00. He was so shocked, and happy! Dave and Vicki sent him a card and $50.00.
We visited for a while and then we returned to our hotel room. We were exhausted. I thought it was so cool that our Skyler graduated on June 1, 2000 at 4:00 p.m. and Braxton graduated 24 years later on June 1, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Both of them wearing blue robes. No coincidences!
