On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, we traveled to Reno for Thanksgiving. What a long drive! We finally made it to Jamie's after an hour delay due to a traffic accident. We dropped off Braxton, and then we got settled into our hotel and then went to Jamie's for dinner. She had made Chicken Enchiladas. We ate dinner and visited.
On Wednesday, we slept in and then got up and went to breakfast. Jamie had to work until noon. The teens sleep late, so we had breakfast at squeezed in. It was delicious. Then we drove over to Jamie's. The girls were hanging out on the bean bags, even the dog.
We hung out at the house for a while, then we headed back to the hotel to rest. We went back to the house and visited before dinner. Dusty prepared ribs on the grill. We stayed for a while, watched a show, and then went back to the hotel.
Thursday morning I got up and got ready for the day. I went over to Jamie's to help get things ready. Jamie had made buttermilk pancakes and syrup. Keith stayed at the hotel and rested. Skyler spent the morning making Keith and I placemats.
I went to the hotel to pick-up Keith while everyone else was getting ready for the day. Brady came over early and the guys visited, while the ladies starting preparing the meal. Skyler set the table for us. Jamie's friend Rachel came over early and helped out with the potatoes.
We ate dinner. It was delicious! Then we took pictures of all of us. After pictures, we opened our special Christmas ornaments and then played Left-'Right-Center. Braxton was the big winner...$33.00. He was kind enough to share with Skyler. Then the guys did the dishes and cleaned up.
We watched some comedy performers and then we went back to the hotel. Friday morning we went over to Jamie's and visited. Jamie, Dusty, and all the kids loaded up and headed to Lake Tahoe. Jamie and Dusty packed a bunch of snacks. It was a beautiful day. We had to take an hour detour to get to Lake Tahoe because of a fatal biking accident. We were so surprised at how crowded Lake Tahoe was. We kept thinking it was because it was the last warm day before winter. There was snow on the mountains, and in some places on the ground. We sat on the beach and soaked up some sunshine. It was relaxing. On the way home, we treated everyone to In and Out Burger. Once we arrived home, Miles and Grady arrived home from California. They spent several days at Grady's grandma's golfing. Miles opened his ornament. We visited with the kids for a while, and then we went back to the hotel.
