On Saturday later afternoon, Jamie, Dusty, and the kids arrived. Everyone got settled in at the house and then we had Chick-fil-A nuggets and fries for dinner. Kamryn, Jamie, Dusty, and Alexis went to visit the Huggards so that Kamryn's dream of driving a Cybertruck would come true. Brian was kind enough to let her drive it. Unfortunately they only took a video, so we don't have a picture of her. But she was thrilled.
The group hung out and then around 8:45 p.m., they went to the Megaplex theater to see the new Avatar Movie. I stayed home with Skyler, and fixed the big meal for Sunday evening. The gang got home around 1:30 a.m. so no one went to bed until around 2:30 a.m.
On Sunday, I attended our Sacrament meeting. I am so glad that I did. Bishop Shaye Larsen spoke on the atonement and it was one of the best talks that I have ever heard. I hope he will share a copy with me.
After church, I came home and changed, took our annual picture, and we went to Jeremiah's for breakfast. We treated the group and they enjoyed their scones and yummy breakfasts. After breakfast, we stopped at Our House Assisted Living Facility to visit Grandma Great. She was so happy to see everyone. I think it was a little overwhelming for her to see so many of us at one time.
We came home and relaxed a bit. I got dinner ready while the rest slept and watched football, Kami and Lexi ran some errands. Jamie made a Lava Cake for our dessert. I fixed ham, cheese potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry salad, and rolls. We ate dinner and then Maya and Brady played cards, did crossword puzzles, and we played Kismet with them.
Brady and Maya went to Christmas Village while Dusty, Jamie, Keith, Kamryn and I watched a movie. Then we all went to bed.
On Monday, we got up and got ready for the day. Kamryn, Dax, and Alexis went to visit the Bowers. An hour or so later, the rest of the group left. I left around 11:15 a.m. to meet my friends for lunch at Jana Leishman's. It was a nice, short visit with the kids.
