Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. We got up early and got ready for the day. Unfortunately, the storm rolled in and it was rainy and cold. We caught an uber and headed to Knotts Berry Farm. We didn't get up early and go to breakfast, which was unfortunate. Thank heavens Jamie brought snacks for us to eat. We stood outside in a downpour for over an hour waiting for Ms. Robal to distribute tickets to the girls and get them checked in. I had to ring out my rain jacket. I was absolutely freezing. I headed to the gift shop and bought a sweatshirt jacket to wear. My feet were soaked. My bag was soaked. We were freezing and we were cold. We got a slice of pizza and hurried and ate before we had to check in at the Walter Knotts Theater. Thankfully the girls performed inside.
After the performances, the girls went to get something to eat and ride the rides.
Unfortunately it was still raining. We were cold and tired. We got on the mine ride. Afterwards, we headed to the restaurant to put our name in for dinner. We did a little shopping while we were waiting to be called for dinner.
I had to take a picture of this mug. I almost never find anything with my name on it. I probably should have bought it, but I already have tons of mugs at home. I did buy a Christmas ornament (a boysenberry).
We finally got called for dinner. It was so good. Knotts Berry Farm is known for its famous fried chicken. I got chicken and waffles. After dinner, we headed back towards the front of the park to meet the girls.
We headed back to the hotel. We were all exhausted. It was so hard to go to sleep with the drag racing across the street from the hotel in the parking garage. We needed to get up early to go to Disneyland-we were meeting Ms. Robal at 8:30 to get a group picture at Disneyland.
